Every year, I reserve my best competition pigeon for breeding, taking into account its physical qualities:

>  its musculature

>  its balance

>  its plumage which is of capital importance for fast flight; It should be silky smooth and shiny

>  His eyes

I appreciate strongly colored eyes in my background pigeons. The strongly colored eyes provide optimal protection against the sun rays. Pigeons with these characteristics will therefore be less weakened over a long flight period.
